Kazakhstan currency market
Yesterday, American dollar added 0,23KZT to 122,09. Thus trading volume with US dollar was 113,605 mln.USD. Rates of other world currencies which were determined by cross-rate method (calculation of cross-rates of foreign currencies to Kazakhstan tenge is made proceeding from the average dollar exchange rate at basic session of KASE and rates of foreign currencies to US dollar) are the following:
• European EURO added 1,30KZT to 166,41KZT;
• Russian ruble also added 0.02KZT to 4,75KZT.
Kаzakhstan Stock exchange
Kazakhstan stock exchange closed a bit higher. By the results of trades, index of KASE_Shares increased by 0,14% to 2 589,67.
Bellwether blue chip indexes demonstrated mixed changes.
Leaders of yesterday's trade were shares of banking sectors. Leading surges of KASE were preferred shares of ATFBank (ATFBp8 and ATFBp) and common shares of Caspian Bank, which added 34,6%, 26,9 and 14,9% respectively.
Bigger drops were on common shares of Bank Turan Alem and of Nurbank, which lost 2,1% and 4,9% respectively.
